JENNIFER SCOTT
Jennifer was in private practice as a lawyer for 25 years and is now a director of ScottADR, providing facilitation and dispute resolution services and training to private and government organisations and to the courts. She holds a Masters Degree in Local Government and Environment Law and a Masters Degree in Dispute Resolution.
Jennifer has been a Rotarian with the Rotary Club of Central Blue Mountains since 1996. She was previously a member of Interact and Rotaract. Having held numerous positions at Club level, Jennifer has further served on a number of District Committees including RYPEN, MUNA, Risk Management, Sexual Harassment and Child Protection. Jennifer assisted in the design of Rotary’s Dispute Resolution System and Child Protection System.
IN 2007-2008 Jennifer was District Governor of District 9690. This area covers Western Sydney and covers from the Sydney Olympic site, Parramatta, Liverpool, Penrith, the Hawkesbury and Blue Mountains.

Interests outside of Rotary include gardening, wine appreciation, opera, bushwalking, travelling and church.
Jennifer is married to Ian, who recently retired from the Royal Australian Air Force after 41 years of service. Ian was made a Member of the Order of Australia in 1996 for his service, particularly as Commanding Officer of Number 37 Squadron. A friend of Rotary since 1996, Ian joined Rotary in 2002 and has served the Rotary Club of Central Blue Mountains as President for 2006-2007. He is currently D9690 trainer and an RLI trainer.
Jennifer and Ian have two adult daughters. Gillian participated in a PACE exchange and RYLA. She is married to Simon and they have 3 wonderful children. Claire also participated in RYPEN, RYLA and Rotary Youth Exchange. She is with the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and is currently on posting to the High Commission in Suva. Claire is a member of Suva Rotaract club.
