Born and educated in Melbourne , Chris completed apprenticeships in Sheet Metal and Mechanical Engineering with BHP before receiving promotion to the Operations Manager position for BHP's subsidiaries John Lysaght and Brownbuilt in PNG.
Chris met his wife Allanah during his 5-½ year assignment in that country which led to their ultimate marriage. They now have two daughters and a son.
Chris left BHP after a 14-year involvement, moving to Adelaide to take up the position of Production Manager with the ROH Company where he undertook further study graduating in Management Planning and Engineering Design.
In 1991, Chris purchased the business of Aspinall Trailers in Acacia Ridge developing that enterprise into one of the leading trailer design and manufacturing businesses in Queensland . Aspinall Trailers now exports trailers to USA , United Kingdom and New Zealand . Chris became a JP (Qual) in 2001.
Joining the Rotary Club of Sunnybank Hills in 1992 Chris served in various club Directorships. Chris has been the driving force behind recent new Clubs in our District.

Named a Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Sunnybank Hills
Appointed in 2006/2007 DG's Special Representative in revitalizing the Rotary Club of Balmoral in relocating, name change and membership development.
