A key program of the Rotary Foundation,
this team based activity provides a unique
educational experience for young business and professional people.
It is designed to advance international goodwill and understanding
through an extensive and rigorous program of international travel
that includes work related activities, cultural experiences and
fellowship opportunities. With the support of Rotary Clubs, the GSE
Committee of District 9630 recruits, trains and exchanges a Team with a Rotary District
in another part of the world. Rotary Clubs are encouraged to:
Identify and sponsor the nomination of a Rotarian, for selection as team leader
Identify and sponsor the nomination of young business or professional people, for
selection as team members. Team members cannot be a Rotarian, or a direct
family member of a Rotarian
The exchange for April 2010 will take place with District 2350 Sweden.
An invitation will be sent to all Clubs to provide nominations for a Team Leader
and then team members. The proposed closing date for Team Leader is July 17,
2009 with interviews taking place a week later.
The Team Member nominations will close on July 24, 2009, with the selection
process on August 1-2, 2009.
The closing date for a request to be a Hosting Club is October 1, 2009.
