Kaye Rosnick – Team Leader

Kaye Rosnick is the District Representative for RYLA and a Past President of the Rotary Club of Carindale.  She has had many careers, including that of Teacher, Secretary, Administrative Assistant, Restaurant owner and is currently a Teacher Librarian whose special interests are teaching Visual Literacy, Writing and Thinking Skills. Some of her passions include travelling, investing, personal development and reading.  
Kaye is married to Barry, and lives in Brisbane, while, daughter, Rebecca lives in New Mexico, and son, Mitchell is currently serving in the U.S. Military in Iraq, along with his wife, Sarah.

 

TEAM MEMBERS

Bernadette Pangrazio


Bernadette Pangrazio, 27, is the Business Development Manager at the Victoria Point Sharks Sporting Club.   She has also held the role of Human Resource Manager and Sports Manager at the Club.  Bernadette holds a degree form Griffith University in Sport Management and a Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations. 

Bernadette, a graduate from Ormiston College, grew up in the Redlands.  She enjoys many sports and currently plays hockey in the Brisbane ‘A’ Grade competition and is a National level umpire. 

 

Lisa Mansfield

Lisa Mansfield, 35, has been a Queensland Police Officer since 1991 and at present, is a Detective Senior Constable with the State Crime Operations Command, Organised Crime Unit.  Lisa has enjoyed a varied career with the Queensland Police Service, serving in uniform at Townsville, with an assignment to the remote Aboriginal Community of Doomadgee as well as the Public Safety Response Team (Riot Squad) based in Brisbane.  Lisa was a Covert (Undercover) Operative and has performed an investigative role with the Child and Sexual Assault Unit, Prostitution Enforcement Task Force, Casino Crime, Armed Robbery and Major Crime Unit.  She has a passion for cooking and enjoys travelling.

 

Susanne Schick

Susanne Schick is the Marketing Coordinator at the University of Queensland’s Faculty of Natural Resources, Agriculture and Veterinary Science (NRAVS) and for the Gatton Campus, just West of Brisbane.  Susanne’s career has seen her involved with tertiary education and young people for the past 6 years.  She is passionate about ensuring the future of Australia’s agricultural and associated industries through promoting the sector as a viable and fulfilling career choice. 

When not working, Susanne can be found renovating her house in Toowoomba, hanging out with her family or curled up in a quiet corner with a good book.

 

Courtney Gillott

Returning from 6 weeks working on youth and community capacity building projects in Emua Village (remote Vanuatu) in 2006, Courtney is driven to continue her passion for Community Development work in Australia and internationally. Working as the Youth Development Officer for Redland Shire Council (bay side of Brisbane, Qld) for the past 6 years and with almost 10 years experience in the youth sector, Young People are definitely her passion. Born in Toowoomba and spending a childhood of living in various places along the east coast of Australia, Courtney is an adaptable, energetic, resourceful young women with a dry sense of humour, willingness to ‘have a go’ and always up for some fun.

 

Janelle Haughey



Janelle, 31, is a Senior Road Designer with the Department of Main Roads.  She has worked in the Civil Industry for 14 years, in several centres across South Eastern Queensland.  She holds a Bachelor of Technology in Civil Engineering which she gained whilst undertaking a Cadetship.  She has worked on a variety of projects, including road design for rural and regional areas of Qld, to a multi-billion dollar Defence Force project in the UK, where she recently spent 2 years working and travelling.
Janelle grew up in Cloncurry and now lives in Toowoomba.  She loves all things culinary, music and the arts and has a passion for travelling.

 

The Group Study Exchange Team that will visit our District from Rotary International District 5730 has been chosen and will travel to our District on 3rd March 2008 and the Exchange will finish on 2nd April 2008.
